They offer extremely competitive rates to experience all that Alaska has to offer and their trips are totally customizable to your wishes. They give customers all the Alaska fishing they can handle. Along with glacier viewing, beach combing, kayaking, whale and wildlife viewing, river fishing, shrimping, crabbing, relaxing, and enjoying the incredible wilderness! The client just purchased a 65’ live aboard and now unlike the traditional fishing lodges they don’t have to go back to a dock every afternoon which allows much more time to fish and enjoy all that Alaska has to offer. They increased their season and needed to fill up their schedule and fast. |
Strategy:
The client had a very limited budget. We rebuilt their website and focused on the imagery. A website with great photos doesn’t mean anything if we don’t have anyone looking at it. We had to build traffic. Using search engine optimization strategies on page and off page we are able to get them the traffic needed to sell out their season. We changed the code and made it search engine spider friendly and are building their popularity with back links to their site. By partnering up with Titan SEO for the search marketing and web optimization. The second part of our strategy is a weekly email blast campaign using a matrix offering the fastest approaching departure date up for a heavily discounted rate to make sure there are no empty seats on boat. We are testing two different writing styles and calls to action, or response levers, to determine the best foot forward in the future. “The Catch of the Day”, the bullet style format pictured left, has had the strongest response thus far. |
We utilized two response mechanisms; one is a fear-based motivator by putting a limited time offer in the campaign and the second is the significant value being offered to the consumer.
